Q. When is your pageant coming to my city?
A. You do not have to wait for our pageant to come to you. We are a 100% mail-in competition, and all you need to do is send in your entry, essays or photos and fees! We do the judging here in our office, and mail your prizes to you!
Q. What are my chances? How many contestants will I be running against?
A. Although we are a brand new mail-in pageant system, we are not as established as some of the other mail-ins. We most likely won’t receive more than one entry per city/age group. It is most likely that you will win your local title. On the State level, from the research that we have done on the other mail-ins, there are usually only about two contestants per state/age group. Some states may have larger competitions, but there still probably won't be more than five contestants per age division. Even at the National level, you most likely will not be competing against 20 other contestants.
Q. What is my entry fee used for?
A. Prizes (including shipping) 79%, Web site maintenance 9%, Fees (business licenses, banking, etc) 5%, Judges 2%, Office supplies 1% and Advertising 4%. Our pageant system is not here to make a lot money. Our main goal is to recognize and reward the contestants for their achievements and accomplishments!
Q. Why should I enter a Mail-In pageant?
A. Our mail-in pageant gives girls the opportunity to win a title without ever having to compete on stage. Some girls are afraid of being on stage in front of large groups, this way she can win that title she has always wanted without the any fear! Hopefully with this title, she will then have the confidence to get up on stage!
Q. Which Age Group should I compete in if my birthday is coming up soon?
A. You should enter into the Age Group that fits your age on the day you send in your Entry Form, however there is a 60 day grace period; if your birthday is within the next 60 days, you may choose to enter the group that fits your age now, or enter the next age group.
Q. After I win my City Title, how do I win a State or National Title?
A. The Miss Heart of America State Pageant will be held in August, where you can compete to win the title of State Queen. Then in November, we will hold the National competition, where three lucky girls will be awarded the title of Miss Heart of America Grand National Queens!
